Matt has more than 20 years’ experience providing strategic environmental advice on infrastructure projects of all sizes across various sectors including transport, water, renewable and energy. He has been responsible for the environmental aspects of major infrastructure projects for the whole of lifecycle and is skilled in identifying and mitigating social and environmental risks early to protect client and project reputation. 

Having worked both in the private and public sectors, Matt skilfully couples his environmental background with extensive consultation experience to ensure informed and sustainable project outcomes are achieved.  He has supported project teams in areas including environmental management, environmental planning and assessment, social impact assessment and community and stakeholder engagement.  

Matt is a natural mentor with the ability to build a trusted rapport and is highly skilled at distilling complex technical information into easy to digest, accessible community materials.  He has extensive experience working on rural and remote projects, as well as consulting with government agencies, representative bodies, special interest groups and sensitive receivers.
